Location
Conestoga College
Carp Cutoff is a fully immersive, interactive website that drops you straight into a game warden’s cabin, where every object on the 3D table tells a story. It’s not just a website—it’s an experience. Hover over an old field guide, a weathered map, or a Polaroid, and watch them come to life with smooth 3D animations, revealing everything you need to know about tracking, identifying, and ethically dispatching invasive carp in Ontario.
This project takes conservation education and makes it hands-on, like you’re flipping through a warden’s notes or prepping for a backcountry patrol. It’s packed with practical tools—a carp tracker map, detailed field guides, and visual ID charts—all wrapped in a vintage outdoorsy aesthetic that feels straight out of a heritage tackle shop. The goal? To make learning about invasive species not just informative, but downright engaging.
